Is Parking Available at Hotel Vinache?

Yes, we have convenient parking adjacent to the hotel. Overnight parking is $25 per day.  We offer discount parking for guests who book our Park & Play Package

Is Hotel Vinache offering any room discounts for essential workers?

Yes, we are pleased to offer special rates for our Hometown Heroes.

Has anything changed with weddings, meetings and events?

Yes, we have strict  cleanliness and hygiene protocols  and have implemented social distancing into our meeting capacity charts and layouts. Our meetings and events teams will collaborate with planners to reimagine their meetings with new meeting set ups, food service protocols, and meeting-specific options.

Do your guest rooms have mini refrigerators?

Yes, all guest rooms have mini refrigerators that are sanitized before each guest stay.

Is Hotel Vinache still offering dry cleaning and laundry services?

No, we do not have dry cleaning and laundry services available at this time.

Are there grab-and-go food and drinks available at Hotel Vinache?

We do not currently offer food or drinks for sale, but our central location on Canal St. puts you within walking distance of hundreds of choices for dining.

What are my dining options at Hotel Vinache?

We have paused the operations of our on-site restaurant and will communicate when we open again.

Is the Hotel Vinache fitness center open?

No, it is currently closed.

What has Hotel Vinache changed in regards to guest room housekeeping?

  • Rigorous cleaning and sanitizing protocols will be used to clean guest rooms prior to arrival.
  • For your safety in-room housekeeping service will not be provided during your stay. 
  • Guest room amenities such as shampoo and conditioner will be provided in the room upon check in.
  • Additional linens, towels, and toiletries are available for pick up at the front desk. 
  • Decluttering of guest rooms and removal of reusable items from guest rooms including, but not limited to, collateral, pen, paper, and directories.

What is the Hotel Vinache doing to assist guests with staying clean and safe?

We have taken the following steps to maintain the highest level of cleanliness and hygiene:

 

  • Our hotel teams receive ongoing briefings and enhanced operating procedures.
  • We have increased the frequency of cleaning of all public areas including the lobby, elevators, door handles, and public bathrooms. 
  • We have increased the deployment of antibacterial hand sanitizers in all public areas.

Have your public spaces, such as your lobby, changed?

  • We staff our public area attendants to support increased frequency of cleaning surfaces, with EPA-approved cleaning agents. 
  • We have modified the placement of furniture to support our social distancing protocol and we ask all guests to leave a minimum of six feet of distance between one another for their protection and the protection of others. 
  • Hand sanitizer stations are available throughout the property.

What is the Hotel Vinache cancellation policy currently?

We remain committed to offering you flexible booking and cancellation options. Given these unique circumstances we are making adjustments to booking policies:

 

  • Existing Domestic Reservations: All reservations  — non-cancellable or advanced purchase — that are scheduled for arrival before May 31, 2021, can be changed or cancelled at no charge up to 24 hours prior to arrival date with proof of reasoning for cancellation.
  • New Reservations: Any new reservation — even those described as non-cancellable or advanced purchase —that are booked between today and May 31, 2021, can be changed or cancelled at no charge up to 24 hours prior to the arrival date with proof of reasoning for cancellation.

Did anything change with checking in and out?

  • You’ll see signage throughout the lobby reminding all guests about physical distancing requirements.
  • Front desks have temporary physical barriers, such as Plexiglas, installed for added protection.
  • Hand sanitizer dispensers are available in the lobby.
  • Contactless check-out is now available by calling the front desk.

Is the Hotel Vinache Hotel open?

Yes, we are open and look forward to hosting you soon.

Do you have a fitness center?

Yes, our amenities include a 24-hour fitness center, accessible with a room key. It is equipped with two treadmills, an x-trainer, and free weights.

Is there a restaurant on-site?

Yes, we have an on-site restaurant. However, we have temporarily paused operations of our restaurant and will notify our guests upon its reopening.

Is the hotel close to public transportation?

Streetcar – The Canal/City Park streetcar stop is conveniently located across the street from our hotel. A one way fare is $1.25 and an all day pass is $3 (exact change required).

The St. Charles streetcar stop, located on Carondelet Street, will take you to the Garden District on Magazine St.

Taxis – The front desk and bellhop team can assist guests with cabs.

Bus – The RTA airport bus stop is located just two blocks away from the hotel on Tulane and Loyola.

Where is the hotel located?

Hotel Vinache is located at 1300 Canal St., left of the Joy Theater, just one block away from the French Quarter and five blocks away from Bourbon St. Our hotel can be accessed from Canal St.

Please note: main doors lock at 10:00 PM but the side entrance on S. Saratoga St. offers 24-hour key access.

What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-In: 4:00 PM
Check-Out: 11:00 AM

Do you have smoking rooms available?

We are 100% smoke-free. Designated smoke areas are available outside of the hotel.

Do you allow pets?

Yes, we love to welcome all family members, even furry ones, at Hotel Vinache! We allow two dogs up to 50 lbs. and there is a $25 per stay cleaning fee.

Do you provide transportation to/from the Airport?

We do not provide complimentary transportation to and from the airport. Taxicabs, Uber, Lyft, and other group transportation options are available at a nominal cost.

How far is it from Hotel Vinache to the airport?

Hotel Vinache is located approximately 16 miles from Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY).

What payment options do you accept at the hotel?

Hotel Vinache accepts all major credit cards for payment. Credit cards will be charged according to the posted payment instructions. Post-travel billing questions should be directed to our accounting department.
